Move-in Checklist
We're excited to welcome you to your new rental home! Please keep the following in mind as you prepare to move:
Your first month's rent payment and the full security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Confirm the amounts with our team in advance to avoid any complications.
Your initial move-in date and inspection details will all be provided at the lease signing.
Utilities for your rental home must be placed in your name following the lease signing. Please do this promptly to avoid any outages in your property.
Move-out Checklist
If you're planning to move out of your rental home, please read through the information below to ensure you end your tenancy on the right foot.
Your lease outlines the legal length of your stay in one of our rental properties; refer to your lease terms to determine your move-out date.
If you're planning to move out of your rental at the end of your lease, please provide our team with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises.
Your rental home needs to be brought back to rent-ready condition before you hand in the keys for your rental home. This involves the following:
Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean every room in your rental home, taking the time to remove your belongings and any garbage. Wash walls, wipe down counters, and mop/vacuum/sweep all floors.
In the bathroom(s) and kitchen, please take extra care; sanitize appliances and hard surfaces carefully.
Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically take care of landscaping and gardening chores like mowing the lawn, please do this once more before moving out.
Repairs: Take all necessary action to repair any damage that has taken place during your stay. This includes replacing broken glass, patching nail and screw holes, and repainting any discolored walls.
We will perform a final inspection after your departure, taking stock of any damages inside the property. If repairs are necessary, we will schedule the necessary visits and use the deposit to cover the expenses associated with such repairs.
The deposit will also be used to cover any unpaid balances on your account. Please note, the deposit cannot be used to cover your last month's rent. Failure to pay your last rent payment may result in legal action and adverse credit reporting.
